Backcross & Multigen Gallery
Catching up with our cross-back puppies! A cross-back, commonly known as F1b, F1bb, or F2b is the result of a Sheepadoodle bred back to a Poodle. While retaining, the classic Doodle Teddy Bear look, the F1b, F1bb, and F2b generations have the highest degree of non-shedding, allergy friendly coats and are best suited for those families with allergy concerns. A Multigen is the result of a cross between two Sheepadoodles.
People ask all the time what is the biggest differences. We honestly cannot tell a huge difference (personality or physically) between the F1 and back cross, or multigen pups. Some of their coats may be a tad curlier but they never look "poodly" which is a fear of some.
